Watch Dogs Legion Reshade Graphics Mod v1.1. Gameplay seems slower then i remembered, but my memory might be wrong though. If you get an error about local.msg, make sure you have enabled write permission on all files. Copying over the "dark" folder from cd to hd works. Since this game never offered Save options (until a mission was completed), this bug could prove to be slightly irritating when coming close to completing a level and needing info from the F1 screen to complete the mission. ![]() CTRL-ALT-DEL does not work - one must return to the Finder and close the window. However, I have noticed that during extensive game play, pressing the F1 key to bring up inventory/menu/map options freezes the game, halting it to a black screen. Original DOS version plays exceptionally well under 0.70 on MacOS X 10.4.9. The game works but it is a bit laggy, especially the sound, I managed to get the sound lags to minimum using manually editing the dosbox config file, saving it under a new name and playing with it till it works the best I could, of course, it might be related to hardware and not dosbox, I didn't try the game on any version prior to 0.71, got the same results, frontend programs such as D.O.G or Dfend did not let me set everything the way I needed to make the game work best and it is still laggy anyhow, you mostly get laggy sound when skipping movies and picking up items. (You don't have to go through the INSTALL.EXE song and dance, but if you don't you'll have a nice and silent game.) If you try to run INSTALL.EXE from off the CD or anywhere else outside the DARK directory, it won't work. Run the INSTALL.EXE file form inside the DARK hard drive directory and set up sound. In DOSBox, mount the CD-ROM drive and have the CD in drive as Dark Forces will look for the CD when it runs. For the sake of completion, here's everything I did to get the game running well:Ĭopy the "DARK" directory from the CD to your hard drive, and then place the "INSTALL.EXE" file from the CD *inside* the DARK directory.
